Make time to make art.

Are you one of the many people who think you can’t draw or paint? That you don’t have a creative bone in your body?

A group of people participate in a watercolor painting class, working on their artwork at a table with brushes, paint palettes, and reference images.

I am proof that this is a myth! Like any other skill, it’s simply a matter of practice.   You don’t expect to be able to learn a language or play a musical instrument on your first try.   Why would you expect anything different in making art?  It also takes practice.  You can  make beautiful art (if you want to).

I’m an experienced and award-winning teacher.  I love seeing others discover how taking a painting class is a fun way to spark creativity, get to know others, and reduce stress.

Step into my classroom.  It’s a supportive environment where the focus is on having fun and building confidence. Instruction is  hands-on.  You learn by doing!  Concepts and skills are presented in a clear sequence.  Start with a short class to paint a particular subject or learn more about watercolor techniques and principles in a weekly class for 4 weeks. Adult painting classes are offered in-person in Birmingham, AL.
